Cyber Software Engineer

Location: London
Salary: up to £85,000 + Benefits Package
About the Role
We're partnering with a leading cyber organisation seeking Senior Software Engineers to support the delivery of advanced software capabilities across a number of mission-critical programmes.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex technical challenges, influence engineering direction and help deliver secure solutions that make a tangible impact within the cyber and national security space.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the development of complex software solutions in secure environments.
- Providing technical leadership across engineering teams and project delivery activities.
- Embedding security considerations throughout solution design and development.
- Driving engineering best practice, quality standards and continuous improvement.
- Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members.
- Contributing to architectural discussions and technical strategy initiatives.

What We're Looking For
- Extensive software engineering experience within complex technical environments.
- Strong expertise in Java, C#, C++ or comparable technologies.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles and secure development practices.
- Experience leading teams, technical workstreams or major engineering deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of development tooling, testing methodologies and CI/CD.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of stakeholders.
