Job Title: Cyber Technical Service Manager

Work from home: 2x per month in London

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 base salary

Are you a cyber security professional with a strong technical background who enjoys building lasting relationships with enterprise customers? Do you want to work with cutting-edge Managed Detection & Response (MDR) services while becoming a trusted technical advisor to organisations looking to strengthen their security posture?

We're looking for a Cyber Technical Service Manager to join a growing cyber security team where you'll act as the technical lead for a portfolio of customers, working closely with Security Operations, Engineering and Product teams to deliver exceptional service and continual security improvements.

This is an opportunity to work from home, influence the direction of customer security strategies, and play a key role in improving cyber resilience for businesses across a variety of sectors.

  • Act as the primary technical contact for a portfolio of cyber security customers
  • Lead technical service reviews, quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and roadmap sessions
  • Provide technical guidance across Managed Detection & Response (MDR) and Managed Infrastructure Services (MIS)
  • Translate security incidents, alerts and trends into clear business-focused recommendations
  • Work alongside SOC teams to improve detection quality, incident response and service performance
  • Support customers through cyber security incidents and major service escalations
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer security maturity and cyber resilience
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to enhance services and automation
  • Produce technical reports, dashboards and service performance insights
  • Support service renewals and identify opportunities for additional cyber security solutions

Skills/Must Have:

  • Experience within Cyber Security, Technical Service Delivery, SOC or Managed Security Services
  • Strong understanding of MDR, SIEM, SOAR and Incident Response
  • Experience managing enterprise customer relationships
  • Knowledge of Security Operations Centre (SOC) processes and cyber security operations
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Understanding of ITIL and SLAs

Desirable:

  • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike or Google SecOps
  • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST or CIS Controls
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce or similar ITSM platforms
  • Power BI or reporting and analytics experience
