CyberArk Engineer (Contract) — London
Rate: £600 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London (hybrid/onsite as required)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CyberArk Engineer to join our team on a contract basis to support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of our Privileged Access Management (PAM) environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on PAM specialist to work on a high-impact security programme within a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and configure CyberArk PAM solutions (Vault, CPM, PVWA, PSM, PTA)
  • Onboard privileged accounts and manage safes, policies, and platforms
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CyberArk-related incidents and service requests
  • Support integration of CyberArk with Active Directory, LDAP, SIEM, and other enterprise systems
  • Develop and maintain CyberArk connectors, plugins, and custom platforms
  • Perform upgrades, patching, and health checks across the CyberArk estate
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to embed PAM best practices
  • Produce technical documentation, including runbooks and architecture diagrams
  • Support audit and compliance activities related to privileged access

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience implementing and supporting CyberArk PAM (Vault, CPM, PVWA, PSM, PTA)
  • Strong understanding of privileged access management principles and security best practices
  • Experience with Windows and Linux server environments
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, and network protocols (RDP, SSH, etc.)
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for automation and custom connectors
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Desirable

  • CyberArk certifications (CDE, Sentry, or Defender)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cloud PAM integrations
  • Knowledge of DevOps/CI-CD pipeline security and secrets management (Conjur)
  • Experience working within regulated industries (finance, insurance, etc.)
