Cybersecurity Account Director

Permanent position in UK, Hybrid (SW London)

Due to continued growth, our client — an award-winning provider of cybersecurity is hiring an additional Cybersecurity Account Director for their sales team.

  • Minimum 5 years' sales experience within the IT/cybersecurity industry

The role:

  • Deep experience selling security and threat intelligence solutions and platforms
  • Confidently present solutions face-to-face to customers, both established and new
  • Identify customer needs and propose the right solutions
  • Strong track record selling into global enterprise accounts
  • Proactively prospect via cold calling, face-to-face meetings and networking
  • Own the full sales cycle end-to-end, with senior management support
  • Work cross-functionally to write and present detailed RFI/RFQ/RFP proposals — cost justification, business case and technical content
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to prospects and customers
  • Build effective, long-term relationships with key influencers and decision-makers
  • Develop short-, medium- and long-term account plans across security and threat intelligence
  • Politically astute across customer and partner organisations
  • Drive sales cycles to a timely close
  • Grow revenue and profit by cross-selling the full solutions portfolio
