Summary

Join a leading financial institution as a Business Analyst focused on Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity & Access Management (IAM). In this role, you will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to drive access governance, account remediation, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity transformation initiatives. You'll be responsible for gathering and defining requirements, shaping solutions, supporting testing activities, and ensuring successful delivery of complex change programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on BA with strong PAM expertise, a solid understanding of security frameworks and access management controls, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a global organization.

Work Model

  • 4 days/week in the office in London
  • 1 day/week home office

Responsibilities

  • Perform requirements gathering and produce Business Requirements and Functional Specification documents.
  • Support all phases of the project lifecycle, including solution definition, testing, implementation, and reporting.
  • Formulate and present proposed solutions to business users.
  • Define testing approaches and prepare test plans and test cases.
  • Perform system and integration testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Compile, analyze, and present test results.
  • Produce project and workstream status reports.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and issues where required.
  • Provide SME support and advisory services on Technology Engineering & Cyber (TEC) solutions and vendor capabilities.
  • Analyze issues and provide evidence-based findings and recommendations.
  • Engage with business and technology stakeholders to support successful delivery across the change portfolio.
  • Perform systems analysis and data analysis using SQL and advanced Excel.
  • Build relationships with senior technology and business stakeholders and provide concise information to support decision-making.
  • Take ownership of risks, issues, and dependencies across project activities.
  • Provide MI and KPI reporting for the Business Analysis function.
  • Support the definition, assessment, and governance of IAM processes, procedures, and controls.
  • Contribute to the delivery of Identity and Access Management solutions that meet compliance requirements.
  • Support Identity Governance and Segregation of Duties (SoD) initiatives.
  • Work on Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes, including account remediation activities.
  • Support framework development and deployment related to access management and cybersecurity.
  • Ensure alignment with relevant regulatory and security frameworks, including EBA-ICT, FFIEC, NIST, COBIT, and FCA guidance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across regional and global teams to share best practices and support effective policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes.
  • Deep understanding of the PAM domain, including account remediation.
  • Experience with framework development and deployment.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and access management frameworks such as EBA-ICT, FFIEC, NIST, COBIT, and FCA.
  • Experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), including business analysis and/or technical-functional design and implementation within a financial services environment.
  • Experience in defining, assessing, and governing IAM processes, procedures, and controls.
  • Experience delivering IAM solutions to meet compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience with Identity Governance and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
  • Detailed understanding of access management within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of security assurance best practices and the application of security frameworks.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize multiple workstreams in a fast-changing environment.
  • Experience in business analysis and solution design across cybersecurity domains.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • Experience working with SQL and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior technology and business stakeholders.
  • Degree educated and/or equivalent professional experience.
