Job Description
This role supports Darktrace’s Cybersecurity Compliance programme by helping to maintain information security certifications and standards, develop and enforce security policies and procedures, manage risks and security incidents, and drive continuous improvement activities. The role also provides compliance guidance across the business, supports customer security assessments, and acts as a key backup for certification and compliance management processes.
What will I be doing
- Support the day-to-day management of industry recognised information security standards (i.e., ISO 27001, ISO 27018, CE).
- Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of information security policies and procedures for the organisation.
- Support the requirement and process for continuous improvement, by leading process for non-conformance capture. To include the identification of information security risks, incidents or regulatory changes.
- Support the management of security-related incidents whereby there is an existential security concern over personnel, assets or infrastructure.
- Support the information security risk management process by identifying, evaluating, treating and monitoring threats to data confidentiality, integrity and availability.
- Provide a level of security compliance support to the business, engagement with department leads and Darktrace users to ensure security compliance throughout the business.
- Provide suitable resiliency and redundancy for the Director, Cybersecurity Compliance with department workflows (i.e., Certification Management).
- Support the management and completion of customer security assessments and queries.

What experience do I need
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, information security, risk, or compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working with different teams across the business
- Ability to analyse information, identify issues, and contribute to process improvements
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of information security standards such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, or data protection principles would be beneficial but not essential
