Cybersecurity Awareness & Enablement Specialist

  • Work Arrangement: Remote
  • Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for the UK

About the Role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Awareness & Enablement Specialist to drive security culture, awareness, and behavioral change across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of business and security, translating security requirements into engaging communication, training, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. You will play a key role in embedding security into everyday business practices and strengthening the organization’s human defense layer.

  • Design and execute a security communication and awareness strategy
  • Develop and deliver training programs (mandatory and targeted) and lead awareness campaigns and engagement initiatives
  • Build and manage a Security Champions network while collaborating with Security, HR, Compliance, and business stakeholders
  • Drive development of people-focused risk frameworks (e.g., human risk / vulnerability) and improve policy adoption and behavioral compliance
  • Manage internal security communication channels (SharePoint, Viva Engage, etc.)
  • Support incident and crisis communication planning
  • Act as a bridge between security and business teams to embed security into daily practices

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in one or more of the following:
    • Security awareness / training / communication
    • Internal communications with security exposure
    • Understanding of human risk in Cybersecurity
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex security topics into clear, business-friendly language
  • Strong stakeholder management and structured thinking, with the ability to plan and execute campaigns and programs effectively
