Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end solution design and architecture activities across cybersecurity initiatives
- Create and maintain High-level Designs (HLDs), architecture patterns, decision records, and solution documentation
- Translate business security functional and nonfunctional requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Define architecture patterns, publish design decisions, and ensure solution alignment with enterprise standards
- Identify, document, and manage design deviations, technical debt, risks, and issues
- Present solutions at design authorities, governance boards, and senior stakeholder forums
- Ensure architecture artefacts undergo peer review and governance approval processes
- Provide technical leadership and cybersecurity subject matter expertise across projects and programmes
- Support technical architects, engineers, and analysts throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead root cause investigations related to HashiCorp Vault integrations and platform issues
- Define secrets management strategies and contribute to the future direction of Identity Access Management capabilities
- Drive monitoring adoption, optimization, and efficiency improvements across IAM and Secrets Management platforms
- Ensure solutions are secure, cost-effective, operationally efficient, and aligned with regulatory requirements
- Manage technical dependencies, project risks, and remediation activities

Requirements
- Strong experience in Solution Architecture, Security Architecture, or Design Engineering roles
- Significant cybersecurity expertise within one or more domains:
- Identity Access Management (IAM)
- Security Operations
- Threat Vulnerability Management
- Cloud Security
- Infrastructure Security
- Network Security
- Application Security
- Cryptography
- Data Security
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise transformation programmes
- Strong understanding of Solution Architecture and Enterprise Architecture frameworks
- Experience operating within regulated industries and operational risk management environments
- Minimum 3 years of experience with HashiCorp Vault
- Strong expertise in HashiCorp Vault Secret Engines and Authentication Methods
- Experience with HashiCorp Terraform, including design and development of complex reusable modules
- Experience designing and implementing Workload Identity Frameworks
- Strong knowledge of enterprise Secrets Management strategies
- Strong Identity Access Management knowledge, including:
- Federated Identity Management
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Authentication and Authorization
- Hands-on experience with:
- OAuth
- SAML
- Kerberos
- Experience managing privileged access control and monitoring solutions
- Strong risk assessment and technical governance capabilities
- Ability to define architecture decisions and map them to associated risks and impacts
- Strong stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to influence senior leadership and architecture governance forums
- Experience managing technical teams, architects, engineers, and analysts
- Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
- Strong documentation and governance discipline
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, or SABSA certifications are highly desirable

Most Important Skills Critical for Success
- 3 years plus experience working in a Hashicorp Vault environment (on-prem preferred)
- 3 years plus in using Hashicorp Terraform, including designing and building of complex modules
- In-depth real-world experience in Vault integration specifically navigating Secret Engines and Authentication methods resulting in robust and reusable patterns for consumption
- Ownership of root cause investigation into Vault integration problems, defining the monitoring of usage trends, and creating efficiencies in the service
