Cybersecurity Senior Analyst

Wood is seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Senior Analyst to join our Cybersecurity team. Reporting to the Cybersecurity Manager, you will support the delivery of cybersecurity services, projects, controls and operational activities across a complex, global organization.

This role is fully remote, with occasional travel to UK offices on an ad hoc basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is well suited to someone with relevant cybersecurity experience who is ready to take greater ownership and broaden their capabilities. You will combine hands-on analysis with service coordination, project delivery and stakeholder engagement, while developing the leadership, judgement and management skills needed for future career progression.

The role provides practical opportunities to develop leadership and management capability through ownership of defined activities, smaller work packages, stakeholder coordination, meeting leadership, knowledge sharing and exposure to wider cybersecurity programmed activities.

The key objectives for this role are:

  • Support assigned cybersecurity services, controls and recurring operational activities
  • Monitor and progress incidents, investigations, tickets, security reviews and stakeholder requests
  • Analyze cybersecurity issues and document findings, risks and recommended actions
  • Ensure assigned work is completed within agreed timescales and supported by appropriate evidence
  • Identify control gaps, service issues and recurring problems, escalating material concerns promptly
  • Support the coordination of significant cybersecurity incidents and investigations
  • Take ownership of defined project actions, deliverables and smaller work packages
  • Track milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions and outstanding actions
  • Coordinate delivery with technical teams, suppliers and business stakeholders
  • Provide accurate updates for dashboards, governance reviews and management reporting
  • Support risk, remediation, audit and assurance activities through completion
  • Maintain accurate procedures, operational records and knowledge materials
  • Help transition completed projects into documented and sustainable services
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to practical service improvements
  • Lead defined activities, chair meetings or provide operational updates when delegated
  • Support colleagues through knowledge sharing and practical guidance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
