About the role
Due to significant expansion we have a fantastic opportunity for a Cyclotron Technician to join our Radiopharmacy Team.
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, the Cyclotron Technician will support all aspects of the manufacturing process. This will include cyclotrons, dispensing systems, autoclaves, and HVAC systems in a manner compliant with GMP.
The role will also include the responsibility to support Radiation Protection Supervisor activities across the site including management of systems and waste management.
Extensive training will be provided across all aspects of the role for suitable candidates.
Hours of work for the roles are 40 hours per week Monday-Sunday.
To be considered for the role
You must hold a BSc/MSc in a related scientific discipline or an appropriate technical qualification in electrical, electronic, or mechanical technology from a recognized technical institute.

Skills and experience
As a successful applicant, you must be:
- Educated to at least degree level in a relevant scientific discipline, or a Diploma in electrical, electronic, or mechanical technology from a recognized technical institute or relevant practical experience in a related field.

Previous experience required:
- Experienced in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- First class written and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; personable.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Good timekeeping.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good listening skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Able to work on your own; proactive including both defining and executing tasks.
- Leads by example.
- The ability to think logically and follow instructions precisely.
Desirable:
- Understanding of the completion of maintenance in a GMP compliant facility.
- Previous experience of working in a radiation controlled environment.
