- Shortlisted candidates contacted: By 25th September
- Digital Skills Assessment: Candidates must complete an online digital skills assessment before Monday 28th September
- Remote Clinical Interview: You’ll need to attend an interview on Wednesday 30th September or Thursday 1st October
- Feedback: You’ll be contacted on Friday 2nd October with either an offer to join the event or constructive feedback if unsuccessful
- Compliance: Needs to be completed by Friday 16th October, you’ll be invited to our compliance platform. You’ll need to be 80% compliant by Friday 16th October. This includes providing an enhanced DBS (on the update service or less than 1 year old), references, Indemnity Insurance, and completing online training
- Training: You’ll also need to attend a remote training session on Monday 19th October from 3:30pm - 9pm to be eligible for the Sign-Off Event
- Sign-Off Event: The Sign-Off event will be in Canary Wharf across Thursday 22nd October and Friday 23rd October. You must be able to attend both in-person sessions, we will cover up to £150 in expenses.

One-line purpose: Deliver high-quality ADHD and ASC assessments for children and young people, ensuring accurate diagnosis, compassionate support and clinically robust recommendations.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
As a CYP Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment process for clients seeking ADHD and ASC diagnosis and support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive ADHD/ASC assessments through interviews, questionnaires, and diagnostic tools.
- Developing individualised assessment reports and recommendations for treatment plans based on your findings.
- Collaborating with other members of the clinical team to ensure a seamless assessment experience for clients.
- Providing expert guidance and support to clients throughout the assessment journey, ensuring they feel understood and valued.
- Staying current with ADHD and Autism research and best practices, integrating this knowledge into your assessments and client interactions.
Your expertise will not only enhance the quality of care we provide but also contribute to building a welcoming and effective environment for clients seeking support.
To Thrive in This Role, You’ll Need
- A relevant clinical qualification (e.g., Psychiatry, Nursing) and experience in the mental health sector
- Registered with one of the following professional bodies: Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), General Medical Council (GMC), General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Social Work England (SWE)
- Hold an ADHD Assessment, ADOS-2 or ADI-R qualification
- A strong understanding of ADHD, Autism and related mental health challenges, along with the diagnostic tools used in assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and provide compassionate support.
- Educated to degree level or above
- Must have clinical experience in ADHD and Autism with strong knowledge of ADHD medications and treatment protocols.
- Understand and are aligned to harm minimisation in drug treatment work;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and provide compassionate support.
- A collaborative approach - working well with multidisciplinary teams is key to our success.
- The ability to manage your own clinic time efficiently while working remotely.
- Highly proficient in written communication to patients, GPs and Specialist Services
- The ability to manage multiple assessments efficiently while working remotely.
- Strong report-writing skills with great attention to detail.
- A proactive mindset - comfortable with change, open to new ways of working, and eager to contribute to a growing service

Optional Paid Work
- Triaging: Review and assess requests for ADHD medication to ensure they are clinically appropriate and safe, escalating complex or high-risk cases
- Prescription Management: Issue ongoing prescriptions for adults. Ensure prescribing aligns with individual treatment plans and current clinical guidance
- Opportunity to contribute to the facilitation of future in-person Sign-Off training events
