About The Role

This service is expanding its Children and Young People (CYP) Talking Therapies service, delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health support to children, young people and families across the UK. The service is open 7 days per week and operates 8am–10pm.

As a CBT Therapist, you will provide structured Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions to children and young people experiencing common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based CBT interventions to children and young people
  • Carry out comprehensive clinical assessments, formulation, and risk management
  • Provide therapeutic interventions via remote and/or face-to-face sessions
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including CWPs, Psychologists, and Family Therapists
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with service requirements
  • Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality and clinical governance frameworks
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision and ongoing CPD

Essential Requirements (Strict Criteria)

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • BABCP Accredited or Registered CBT Therapist
  • Completed CYP IAPT Pathway training (High Intensity CBT for Children & Young People)
  • Demonstrable experience delivering CBT interventions to children and young people
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment, safeguarding and clinical governance

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within CAMHS, NHS, or equivalent services
  • Experience delivering remote therapy
  • Experience working with neurodiverse populations or complex presentations
