- Location: Remote, with a Sign-Off Event on 3rd & 4th September (the 4th is in-person in London)
- Job closes: 14th August

- Shortlisted candidates must complete an online digital skills assessment before 20th August
- Remote Clinical Interview: You’ll need to attend an interview on 21st, 24th or 25th August
- Feedback: You’ll be contacted on 26th August with either an offer to join the event or constructive feedback if unsuccessful
- Compliance: From 26th August – 2nd September, you’ll be invited to our compliance platform. You’ll need to be 80% compliant by the event. This includes providing an enhanced DBS (on the update service or less than 1 year old), references, Indemnity Insurance, and completing online training
- Training: You’ll also need to attend two remote training sessions to be eligible for the Sign-Off Event

Purpose of the Role
One-line purpose: Deliver safe, evidence-based ADHD titration and prescribing for children and young people, ensuring clinically robust treatment plans, compassionate support and high-quality documentation.
Primary impact:
- Initiate and manage ADHD titration for CYP following diagnosis.
- Prescribe safely in line with NICE guidance and internal clinical governance.
- Produce high-quality treatment reviews, clinic letters and shared-care requests.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
As a CYP ADHD Prescriber, you will play a pivotal role in the titration and treatment process for children and young people seeking ADHD medication support.
- Initiate the titration pathway for CYP following a positive ADHD diagnosis, including triage, treatment goal-setting and issuing first prescriptions.
- Monitor treatment progress and safety by reviewing ADHD monitoring forms and responding to adverse effects promptly.
- Prescribe ADHD medication in accordance with NICE guidelines and Cresco Clinic processes.
- Conduct treatment reviews with individualised recommendations for ongoing plans.
- Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure a seamless experience for CYP and their guardians.
- Provide expert guidance and compassionate support throughout the titration journey.
- Stay current with ADHD research and best practice, integrating this into clinical decision-making.
- Prepare and submit clinic letters and shared-care requests to GPs following Cresco Clinic procedures.
- Contribute to a welcoming, effective environment for CYP and their guardians.
To Thrive in this Role, You’ll need
- Registered Children’s Nurse, Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Pharmacist (GPhC).
- Hold a V300 / Independent Prescribing qualification.
- Educated to degree level or above.
- Clinical experience in CYP ADHD or CYP mental health, with strong knowledge of ADHD medications and treatment protocols.
- Alignment with harm-minimisation principles in drug treatment for CYP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with CYP and guardians.
- Strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage clinic time efficiently while working remotely.
- Highly proficient written communication for patients, guardians, GPs and specialist services.
- A proactive mindset — comfortable with change and eager to contribute to a growing service.
- Confidence using technology to work efficiently and enhance patient experience.

What To Expect

- 💻 Remote Clinical Interview: You’ll need to attend a clinical interview via Teams on 21st, 24th or 25th August.
- 📅 Feedback: You’ll receive an update on 26th August, either offering you a place at the Sign-Off Event or providing constructive feedback if unsuccessful.
- 🛡️ Compliance Requirements: From 26th August – 2nd September, you’ll be invited to our compliance platform. You’ll need to be 80% compliant by the event, which includes:
- Providing an enhanced DBS (on the update service or less than 1 year old)
- Supplying references
- Evidencing your own indemnity insurance
- Completing required online training
- 🎓 Mandatory Training: You’ll be asked to attend two remote training sessions to be eligible for the Sign-Off Event.
