Job Description: CYP Psychotherapist/Counsellor at ReWellness Counselling
ReWellness Counselling is seeking an experienced CYP Psychotherapist/Counsellor to join our small, supportive team at the Broadstone Centre. This is an in-person role providing high-quality therapeutic support to children & young people, alongside the ability to work with adults across a variety of presenting issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and manage ongoing therapy sessions for individuals and parents of CYP
- Deliver creative, evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a safe, professional environment
- Maintain accurate client records and adhere to safeguarding policies
- Participate in supervision
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture, sharing knowledge and ideas
Working Hours & Contract
- Our standard shifts are in 5 hour blocks, from 3pm–8pm Monday-Friday.
- You choose how many regular shifts you’d like to work each week between, minimum commitment 3 shifts a week.
- Your regular shifts will form your contracted hours, giving you a consistent weekly schedule.
- Optional overtime and additional shifts are also available if you’d like to work more.

Pay & Benefits
- £18-30 per session, dependent on experience and responsibility
- 5.6 weeks paid holiday per annum
- Service closed for approximately two weeks over Christmas (holiday entitlement applied)
- Supervision, team meetings, inductions, and full administrative support

About ReWellness Counselling
ReWellness Counselling provides a calm, beautifully designed, in-person therapeutic environment with a primarily private client base. Our small team ensures clinicians receive supervision, support, and structure to deliver meaningful, high-quality care.
Essential Criteria
- Recognised qualification working with children
- Passionate about working with children and young people
- Professional body membership (BACP, UKCP, HCPC, NCS, or equivalent)
- Ability to be engaging and work creatively with young people
- Enhanced DBS
- Strong organisational skills to manage caseloads effectively whilst maintaining thorough documentation.
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain professional boundaries at all times.

Experience
- Proven experience delivering therapeutic interventions within a clinical or community setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse client groups
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to client welfare. This role provides an enriching environment for professional growth whilst making a positive impact on individuals’ mental health journeys.
