Band 7 Enquiries, Advice and Support (EAS) Operational Lead
Are you an experienced children’s therapy clinician with strong operational leadership skills? Are you passionate about improving access to timely enquiries, advice and support for children, young people, families and partners?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Enquiries, Advice and Support (EAS) Operational Lead to join Children and Young People’s Integrated Therapies (CYPIT). This role will provide day-to-day operational leadership for the CYPIT wide EAS service.
You will work closely with CYPIT service leads, professional leads, clinicians and early help partners to coordinate delivery, support service improvement and ensure children, young people and families receive clear, consistent and responsive advice and support.
This is a varied leadership role for someone who can combine clinical knowledge, effective people management, data-informed service planning and partnership working to support safe, high-quality and accessible children’s therapy services.
You will also contribute to the development of our online early help offer, training webinars and information about how to access CYPIT support, helping to strengthen early intervention and improve the experience of families and referrers.
The post holder may be required to travel across Trust premises to meet service needs, with the base to be confirmed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
