We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the CYPS Division as our Service Manager for CYPS Crisis & Paediatric Liaison Services leading the care and staffing of our CYPS Intervention and Paediatric Nursing Services across Surrey and NEH. In this role you will provide senior input into the day-to-day co-ordination and delivery of the Team and the interface within the acute hospitals working in partnership with the teams. You will attend relevant forums to strategically lead and manage these services both within the EWMH partnership and with external stakeholders.

You will be supported by the Urgent Emergency Care Pathway General Manager for the CYPS Crisis Pathway to ensure the services operate in a safe, effective & efficient way. In addition, you will be part of a team fostering a culture that encourages and enables individuals to have an active role in identifying, planning and meeting their individual needs.

Provide operational leadership and management

  • Develop, review and maintain effective systems which ensure the service is delivered according to national, CQC, local and Trust standards, policies, guidelines and local service

  • Work across organisational boundaries at the appropriate level to ensure that mental health services for children & young people in Surrey & NEH are provided within a coordinated, inter-agency context

Deputise for the CYPS General Manager for the Crisis Pathway, if required
