D2C Development Lead

The Change Partners are working with a Tier-1 global consumer brand who are looking to hire a D2C Development Lead to sit above three scrum teams in the European D2C Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior technology leader with a strong eCommerce, technical development background to own development strategy and delivery across a large-scale, multi-market D2C environment.

You’ll play a key role in leading the development function across multiple European markets, working at a Scrum of Scrums level across three experienced Scrum teams, acting as the senior development liaison.

This is a 12-month contract role, with yearly extensions, inside IR35 via an umbrella company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development function across three experienced Scrum teams, operating at a Scrum of Scrums level.
  • Provide senior leadership and direction to Development Leads and Scrum Masters across the D2C technology landscape.
  • Own and shape the development strategy and technology roadmap across multiple European markets.
  • Act as a senior liaison between development teams, architecture teams, hub contacts and wider technology stakeholders.
  • Work closely with architecture and engineering teams to shape technical approaches and ensure solutions are scalable and fit for purpose.
  • Provide technical leadership and challenge across development decisions.
  • Manage escalations and dependencies across teams, ensuring blockers are resolved effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across European markets, technology hubs and architecture functions.
  • Provide clear updates on development strategy, roadmap progress, risks and technical priorities to senior leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
