Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant

Location: UK Wide / Hybrid
Salary: up to £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Our client, an established and growing Microsoft Solutions Partner, is looking to appoint an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant to support a growing portfolio of ERP transformation projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected Microsoft Partner delivering complex Business Central solutions across a range of industries, including distribution, manufacturing and wholesale.

We're looking for a consultant with a strong track record of delivering Business Central projects within a Microsoft Partner environment.

The Role

As a Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant, you'll be responsible for leading functional workstreams across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through to implementation, training and go-live support.

You'll work closely with customers to optimise their operational processes, with a particular focus on warehouse and inventory management, ensuring solutions deliver tangible business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation and upgrade projects.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather and document business requirements.
  • Design and configure Business Central solutions aligned to customer needs.
  • Deliver warehouse management and inventory optimisation solutions.
  • Advise clients on Advanced Warehousing functionality and best practice.
  • Support testing, user training and go-live activities.
  • Work alongside technical and development teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience delivering Dynamics 365 Business Central projects within a Microsoft Partner environment.
  • Strong functional consulting background across Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
  • Experience implementing Warehousing and Advanced Warehousing functionality.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, distribution and supply chain processes.
  • Experience running discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective Business Central solutions.

Desirable

  • Experience within manufacturing, wholesale or distribution sectors.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform and wider Microsoft Business Applications.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
  • Experience with WMS integrations and third-party warehouse solutions.
