The role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Dynamics 365 Business Central Support Analyst to join a growing IT and Business Systems team at one of our established manufacturing clients. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) or Dynamics NAV who is looking to develop their career within a dynamic production environment.

As part of the team, you will provide first-line support to users across the business, helping ensure the smooth operation of our ERP platform that underpins key functions including finance, supply chain, procurement, inventory management and manufacturing operations.

You will work closely with colleagues across multiple departments to troubleshoot issues, support system improvements and contribute to ongoing ERP projects that drive operational efficiency and business growth.

The role primarily based from modern Cheshire offices, with the opportunity for occasional hybrid working, and potential travel to other company sites as required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV users across the business.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day ERP system issues, escalating where appropriate.
  • Support manufacturing, supply chain, finance and operational teams in their use of the ERP system.
  • Assist with user training, process documentation and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor system performance and support minor configuration changes and improvements.
  • Work alongside IT, business stakeholders and third-party partners on system enhancements and project delivery.
  • Contribute to testing and user acceptance activities for new functionality and system upgrades.
  • Ensure support tickets are managed effectively and resolved within agreed service levels.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) or Dynamics NAV in an end-user or support environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and resolve first-line support issues.
  • Good understanding of ERP processes across finance, supply chain, inventory management or manufacturing.
  • Experience working with business users in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, distribution or supply chain-focused organisation would be advantageous.
