TeamCandour are working once again with a thriving, global financial services organisation seeking a D365 Developer / Application Specialist to join its platform team on a permanent, hybrid basis. The organisation is committed to high-quality service, supported by a collaborative and inclusive culture that encourages people to challenge convention and find better ways of working.
This is a hands-on, mid-level role supporting the development, configuration, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, primarily across Customer Service and Sales.
Working with technical leads and delivery colleagues, you will configure and customise applications, develop extensions, support integrations, resolve defects, and contribute to reliable, maintainable platform delivery.

Candidate Profile:
Technical Experience:
You will have practical experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 developer or application specialist, with knowledge of Customer Service, Sales, Dataverse, the Common Data Model, model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate, and solution management. You should be comfortable working across both configuration and development, and understand software delivery from design and build through testing and deployment.
Experience of application lifecycle management, governance, documentation, database design, data normalisation, and querying will be important.
Knowledge of JavaScript, C#, plug-ins, APIs, and Azure DevOps would be advantageous, as would experience with Contact Centre, Omnichannel, customer-service workspaces, third-party integrations, or Azure integration services.

Ways of Working:
You will be technically curious, pragmatic, and delivery-focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. You should be able to analyse complex information, influence others, and make sound implementation decisions within agreed standards, while recognising when to seek guidance.
An awareness of quality, security, maintainability, and operational considerations is essential.
Experience of both waterfall and agile methodologies is required. Experience in a regulated environment would be beneficial, as would relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, MB-230, or MB-210.
