We’re working with a leading Microsoft Gold Partner that is continuing to grow its Managed Services function. They support a diverse range of customers across the UK and internationally, helping organisations maximise the value of their Microsoft Dynamics and wider technology environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a D365 F&O Support Consultant who enjoys working in a customer-facing managed services environment and wants exposure to a variety of businesses, applications and support challenges.
The Role
As a D365 F&O Support Consultant, you’ll provide 2nd and 3rd line application support across a portfolio of customers. You’ll take ownership of support tickets from investigation through to resolution, working within agreed SLAs and ensuring customers receive clear and regular communication throughout the process.
The role requires someone with a broad understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, particularly across Finance, Supply Chain Management, Trade & Logistics, Warehousing, Procurement & Sourcing and/or Retail. You’ll also work closely with customer teams, account managers and other technical specialists to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, optimisation, automation and enhanced support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional 2nd and 3rd line support for Dynamics 365 F&O customers.
- Take end-to-end ownership of incidents and service requests assigned to you.
- Investigate complex application issues, identify root causes and implement appropriate resolutions.
- Ensure tickets are managed and resolved within agreed SLAs and support contracts.
- Provide clear, regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Test and take ownership of fixes and allocated developments before deployment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a wider customer support team.
- Support major incident investigations and provide clear technical and customer communication.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing across the wider support function.
- Analyse support trends and application health to identify potential improvements.
- Identify opportunities for optimisation, monitoring, automation and additional services.
- Contribute technical input to customer discussions and, where required, pre-sales opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted point of contact for their Dynamics environment.
- Help improve internal support processes and service delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

What They're Looking For
This role would suit someone who enjoys the variety that comes with managed services rather than working on a single D365 implementation. You’ll need to be self-motivated, commercially aware and comfortable working under pressure, while maintaining a high standard of customer service. The ability to explain technical problems in straightforward business language is particularly important, as you'll regularly communicate with customers and stakeholders at different levels. There will also be occasional travel for internal meetings and customer visits.
Why Consider It?
- Work with a growing Microsoft Dynamics 365 specialist.
- Exposure to a varied customer base and different D365 environments.

- Access to ongoing technical training and professional development.
- A collaborative environment with opportunities to work alongside experienced D365 professionals.
- Excellent career progression opportunities, with ongoing training, professional development and the chance to broaden your expertise across Dynamics 365 and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.
