Technical Architect – Dynamics 365 FSCM & Azure

Salary: Up to £115,000 + 15% bonus

Location: UK Remote – travel to client sites when required

Work Type: Permanent

Role

We’re working with an established technology consultancy that is continuing to strengthen its Microsoft architecture capability and is looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join the team.

This is a senior, customer-facing position combining solution architecture, technical leadership and hands-on involvement across complex transformation programmes.

The role sits across Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (FSCM), with a particular focus on designing integration-heavy solutions that connect ERP platforms with the wider technology landscape.

You’ll work remotely across the UK for the majority of the time, with travel to client sites when the engagement requires it. Travel will vary depending on projects; averaged over time it could be around two days per week or less, although there may occasionally be busier periods involving several days onsite.

Responsibilities

You’ll take ownership of the technical architecture across customer engagements, including:

  • Designing end-to-end Azure-based solutions across applications, integrations, data, security and infrastructure
  • Creating integration architectures between Dynamics 365 FSCM and other enterprise systems
  • Leading technical discovery and solution design workshops
  • Translating business requirements into practical technical solutions
  • Producing architecture documentation and technical designs
  • Selecting appropriate Azure services, integration patterns and technologies
  • Providing technical direction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Supporting and mentoring technical delivery teams
  • Reviewing technical designs and ensuring solutions align with agreed architecture
  • Working closely with consultants, project teams and customer stakeholders
  • Presenting technical approaches to senior customer audiences
  • Supporting technical scoping, estimation and presales activity
  • Helping identify opportunities to improve or extend customer solutions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Exposure to technologies such as C#/.NET, Azure DevOps, API Management, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Entra ID, Infrastructure as Code and Azure data services would be beneficial.

Importantly, this role requires someone who already understands the Dynamics 365 FSCM/F&O environment. You don’t need to be a functional consultant, but you should have enough previous exposure to confidently architect solutions around the platform rather than needing to learn the ecosystem from the ground up.

The Package

The package offers a salary of up to £115,000 plus a 15% bonus, alongside a UK-remote working model.
