D365 F&O Technical Consultant- X++, Dynamics365, Developer, D365 Developer, F&O, Finance & Operations, Azure Service Bus, azure logic Apps, Function Apps, REST APIs, JSON payloads, OAuth-based, D365, airwallex, integrations, technical consultant, Integration Consultant.   • £500pd (outside IR35) – UK Remote

Our end user client is seeking an experienced D365 F&O Technical Consultant to join them for an initial 5 month contract engagement. The role will be responsible for building integrations between D365 F&O and our client’s Airwallex payment platform. Experience with Airwallex is not required but candidates need to have a strong background in X++ as well as solid understanding of core finance in D365.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Enterprise Applications Solution Architect and the Finance team to integrate Airwallex with F&O.
  • Design, develop, and maintain customizations in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations using X++ and extensions following Microsoft best practices.
  • Develop and consume Business Events and Data Events to enable event-driven integrations with external applications.
  • Design and implement integrations using Azure Service Bus (Queues, Topics, and Topic Subscriptions).
  • Build secure and scalable APIs through Azure API Management (APIM).
  • Develop integration workflows using Azure Logic Apps for orchestration and business process automation.
  • Develop Azure Function Apps for custom business logic, data transformation, and event processing.
  • Design resilient asynchronous integration patterns using messaging services and event-driven architecture.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience implementing Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • 5+ years in Azure based integrations, especially Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps and Function Apps.
  • Experience in D365- F&O customisation is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, possessing the confidence to build relationships with all levels of stakeholder.
  • Must have good functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O in the Finance area.
  • Must have significant integration and customisation experience in F&O.
  • Very good experience in X++.
