Are you an experienced D365 F&O Support Consultant looking to take the next step in your career with a leading Microsoft Partner?
We're working with a growing Microsoft Partner that is expanding its D365 practice and is looking for a F&O Support Consultant with a technical background to provide consultant to provide support across a diverse portfolio of enterprise clients.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with the latest Microsoft technologies, develop your consulting skills and become part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality solutions for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and legacy Dynamics AX environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and system issues within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Investigate and analyse incidents, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions where appropriate.
- Monitor the health, performance, and availability of D365 F&O environments and supporting services.
- Support system integrations with third-party applications using APIs, Data Management Framework (DMF), OData, Azure services, and Power Platform where applicable.
- Manage and support batch jobs, recurring integrations, workflows, and business processes.
- Perform data imports, exports, validation, and troubleshooting using Data Management and other migration tools.
- Support user security by managing roles, duties, privileges, and access requests in accordance with organisational policies.
- Assist with application deployments, code releases, environment refreshes, and hotfix implementation across development, test, and production environments.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, infrastructure teams, Microsoft, and third-party vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
- Analyse application logs, telemetry, SQL queries, and system diagnostics to identify and resolve performance issues.
- Support integrations with Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services (LCS), Electronic Reporting (ER), and other Microsoft technologies.
- Document incidents, root cause analyses, technical solutions, and knowledge base articles to improve support processes.
- Participate in change management, release planning, testing, and production deployments.
- Provide technical guidance and support to business users, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and support procedures.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, and process optimisation.
- Ensure all support activities comply with ITIL best practices, governance standards, and security requirements.
- Participate in an on-call support rota where required.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft D365 F&O releases, platform updates, and emerging technologies to recommend continuous improvements.

Previous experience working for a Microsoft Partner or consultancy would be highly beneficial, but is not essential.
