Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant | Remote, UK | Up to £70,000 Per Annum
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant to join a UK-based not-for-profit organisation and play a key role in the ongoing development of its CRM and business applications.
You will work across the organisation to understand how teams use Dynamics 365 and the wider Microsoft Power Platform, identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance functionality and make better use of existing technology.
This is a hands-on functional position, combining business analysis, solution configuration, stakeholder engagement and user support. You will work closely with both technical and non-technical colleagues, helping to ensure that Dynamics 365 continues to evolve in line with the organisation's needs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Engage with business teams to understand their requirements, challenges and priorities.
- Translate business needs into practical Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
- Configure and enhance Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement functionality.
- Review existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Produce clear functional documentation, user stories, process maps and solution specifications.
- Work alongside internal technical teams and external suppliers on system changes and integrations.
- Coordinate and support system testing, UAT and the introduction of new functionality.
- Provide guidance and training to users to improve confidence and adoption of CRM capabilities.
- Help maintain data accuracy, consistency and overall CRM data quality.
- Investigate and resolve functional issues raised by Dynamics 365 users.
- Contribute to the administration, governance and continuous improvement of the CRM environment.
- Support the organisation in getting greater value from Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

What We're Looking For
- Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, particularly Sales and Customer Service.
- Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Business analysis, requirements gathering and process improvement.
- Functional configuration and solution design within Dynamics 365.
- Producing functional specifications, user stories and technical/business documentation.
- Managing stakeholder relationships across different areas of an organisation.
- Supporting testing, UAT, releases and user training.
- CRM data management, data quality and governance.
- Integrations and/or data migration involving Dynamics 365.
- Working within an Agile delivery environment.
- Azure DevOps or similar tools for managing development and delivery.
