Senior Dynamics 365 Project Operations Functional Consultant
A Swedish end customer is seeking an experienced Senior Dynamics 365 Project Operations Functional Consultant to support the design, configuration, and delivery of D365 Project Operations solutions.
The successful consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, Solution Architects, and development teams, taking ownership of functional requirements, solution design documentation, and delivery through to UAT acceptance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deliver business processes within Dynamics 365 Project Operations
- Gather, analyse, and prioritise business and application requirements through stakeholder workshops and interviews
- Produce and own detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and functional specifications through to UAT sign-off
- Conduct gap analysis between existing business processes and D365 capabilities
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for Solution Architects and development teams
- Define test scenarios, expected results, and acceptance criteria for functional and UAT testing
- Review solution designs and prototypes to ensure alignment with business requirements
- Develop training materials and deliver training to key business users
- Work closely with the Solution Architect to ensure successful solution delivery

Required Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience as a D365 Project Operations Functional Consultant
- Strong expertise in producing detailed functional specifications and design documentation
- Proven experience configuring and implementing D365 Project Operations
- Strong business process analysis, requirements gathering, and gap analysis skills
- Experience supporting end-to-end D365 implementations, including testing, UAT, and user training
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical and functional delivery teams
