Experienced D365 Technical Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced D365 Technical Project Manager to take ownership of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 landscape across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics 365 Project Operations. This is a critical role responsible for managing release schedules, testing activities, and change governance, ensuring system updates are delivered smoothly, effectively, and with minimal disruption to business operations.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in release management, testing coordination, change control, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments who enjoys working at the heart of large-scale business and technology transformation programmes.

As the Dynamics 365 subject matter expert, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, data analysts, and external development partners to coordinate the successful delivery of system enhancements, updates, and deployments.

As D365 Technical Project Manager, you will be:

  • Owning and managing the end-to-end Dynamics 365 release calendar and deployment schedules.
  • Acting as the subject matter expert across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
  • Coordinating testing activities including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and smoke testing.
  • Managing change control processes, approvals, and release readiness activities.
  • Supporting go/no-go decision making for releases and deployments.
  • Coordinating releases across multiple environments including Development, Test, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production.
  • Managing defects, risks, dependencies, and post-release validation activities.
  • Producing and maintaining release documentation including release notes, test plans, RAID logs, cutover plans, and deployment records.
  • Translating functional business requirements into actionable technical requirements for external developers and data analysts.
  • Working closely with internal teams, software vendors, and third-party suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Driving continuous improvement across release management, testing, and change governance processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
