DACH - Sales Account Manager - Remote - in the UK or Germany

£60K-£65K base
£80K OTE

We have a brand new exciting remote Account Executive role for the DACH Market. You will form part of their established Sales team for Germany & Austria. Our client, a leading and successful e-learning software provider, is looking to appoint an experienced proven full sales cycle expert within the software field. You can be based either in Germany or the UK remotely with the availability to travel throughout the DACH market at 5 times a month. You will be meeting clients, presenting, performing demos and closing deals! You will be bilingual in German/English.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing, leveraging the company's established presence in the DACH region to drive continued business growth.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed new business sales targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, effectively advancing opportunities through the sales cycle to meet quarterly revenue objectives.
  • Conduct proactive daily outreach, scheduling high-quality meetings and product demonstrations to identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Deliver engaging product presentations, both virtually and in person, to researchers, faculty members, and academic librarians.
  • Apply market knowledge and industry insights to develop strategic account plans that support revenue growth and sales performance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets, execute team initiatives, and support marketing campaigns.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Essential to be bilingual in German and English, spoken and written. (C1/C2)
  • Minimum of three years' experience in sales, ideally within EdTech, STEM publishing, or SaaS.
  • Minimum of 2 years full sales cycle Sales or potential established SDR's and BDR's looking to move into an AE role may be considered, depending on length of experience.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers while expanding existing accounts in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively both in person and virtually.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and committed to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Willingness to travel at least two days per week.
