Exciting Opportunity for a DAFaid / Workshop HGV Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a DAFaid / Workshop HGV Technician to join Adams Morey at our brand-new dealership in Andover.
This is a varied role that combines workshop-based servicing and repairs with roadside assistance through the DAFaid breakdown service. You'll play a vital role in keeping our customers' vehicles on the road by delivering high-quality maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, whether in our state-of-the-art workshop or responding to roadside callouts.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Salary
Dependent on experience (will be discussed at interview stage).
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.30 pm
- Plus call outs when on rota, i.e. 40 hours per week
- 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid) with two 15 minutes paid breaks

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to commercial vehicles and trailers.
- Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Providing roadside assistance and recovery support through the DAFaid service.
- Completing inspections, MOT preparation, and preventative maintenance.
- Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
- Maintaining accurate job records and paperwork.
- Delivering excellent customer service both in the workshop and on-site.
Ideally, we are looking for:
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Workshop Technician.
- Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- A full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable, but not essential).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and commitment to high standards of workmanship.
