Daily Supply Teacher

Pay: £145–£175 per day

Working pattern: Part-time and flexible

Start date: From 1 September 2026

Location: Wandsworth, London, SW18

Salary will reflect experience and qualifications in line with the London Teachers Pay Scale.

Transparency Education is recruiting a dependable Daily Supply Teacher for primary schools across Wandsworth. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced teacher, an ECT seeking wider classroom exposure, or someone returning to education who wants flexibility without committing to a permanent timetable.

As a Daily Supply Teacher, you will provide high-quality classroom cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, following the school’s plans and maintaining positive learning routines.

What you will do

  • Deliver prepared lessons clearly and confidently.
  • Establish expectations quickly and manage behaviour positively.
  • Adapt activities where pupils require additional support or challenge.
  • Mark completed work and leave a useful handover for the class teacher.
  • Follow each school’s safeguarding, behaviour and attendance procedures.
  • Represent Transparency Education professionally in every placement.

  • QTS or an appropriate recognised teaching status.
  • Recent primary teaching or supply experience.
  • Confident classroom and behaviour-management skills.
  • Flexibility to work across different schools and year groups.
  • Good communication, punctuality and professional judgement.
  • The ability to settle quickly into unfamiliar settings.
