Healthy Homes Adviser
Gloucester / Oxfordshire
£33,000 + £750 annual car allowance
What you'll be doing
You'll work closely with customers to help them understand and manage damp, mould and condensation within their homes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Visiting customers in their homes across Gloucester and Oxfordshire.
- Providing practical advice on ventilation, heating, humidity and preventing condensation.
- Carrying out mould cleaning and treatment to small, affected areas.
- Identifying property hazards or maintenance issues and reporting them promptly.
- Escalating complex cases to Surveyors for further investigation.
- Planning and managing your own appointments and workload.
- Following up repairs and ensuring actions are completed.
- Maintaining accurate records using our management systems.
- Identifying safeguarding or wellbeing concerns and working with colleagues to provide the right support.

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service. You'll ideally have:
- Experience working in social housing in a customer-facing environment.
- Knowledge of the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
- Great communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Confidence working independently and managing a varied workload.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and digital systems such as MRI.
- A full UK driving licence and use of a car for work purposes.
