Damp and Mould Support Officer – Grade 6
Provide the coordination and administrative support that keeps damp and mould cases on track
About the role
We’re looking for a Damp and Mould Support Officer to join our Housing Assets & Repairs service.
You’ll provide case management and practical support for damp and mould cases, working with residents, repairs teams, contractors and other Housing services to make sure cases, inspections, works and enquiries are effectively progressed.
You’ll monitor outstanding works, coordinate inspections and follow-up actions, keep residents informed and make sure case information and outcomes are accurately recorded. You’ll also help resolve complaints and service issues, identify matters that need escalating and support the monitoring of contractor performance and service quality.
About you
You’ll bring property maintenance experience, preferably gained within housing, including experience of property inspection, diagnosing common property defects and working with construction contractors or consultants.
You’ll understand the building industry, property maintenance and common property defects, and how these apply within a housing repairs environment.
You’ll also have strong customer service, communication and organisational skills, with experience of dealing directly with residents and progressing enquiries or issues through to resolution. You’ll be able to manage competing priorities, work effectively with contractors and colleagues and make sure actions are followed through to completion.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
