Dampcure Woodcure / 30 Ltd are looking for an experienced and professional Damp & Timber Surveyor to join our team.

With over 65 years of experience, Dampcure Woodcure / 30 Ltd is a well-established, trusted family business specialising in damp, timber treatment and property preservation.
As a fourth-generation business, our reputation has been built on technical expertise, quality workmanship, honesty and exceptional customer service. We are looking for an experienced surveyor who shares these values and wants to become part of our continued growth.
🔎 THE ROLE – DAMP & TIMBER SURVEYOR
As a Damp & Timber Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed property surveys, identifying damp and timber-related issues, recommending appropriate remedial works and providing customers with clear, professional advice.
You will be an important representative of the company, building strong relationships with customers and ensuring they receive an outstanding service from their initial enquiry through to the completion of works.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out thorough surveys of residential and commercial properties.
- Identify and diagnose damp, timber and associated property defects.
- Assess waterproofing and below-ground damp issues where appropriate.
- Prepare clear and accurate survey reports and recommendations.
- Provide customers with professional and honest advice.
- Recommend appropriate remedial treatments and solutions.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and provide an excellent customer experience.
- Work closely with our office team and site operatives.
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and keep up to date with industry developments.
- Ensure all recommendations and reports meet relevant industry standards and best practices.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for an experienced surveyor with a strong background in the property preservation industry.
Essential:
- 🎓 CSRT – Certificated Surveyor in Remedial Treatment
- 🎓 CSSW – Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing
- 🚗 Full UK driving licence
- ⭐ Proven experience within damp, timber treatment and property preservation
- ⭐ Excellent customer service and communication skills
- ⭐ Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- ⭐ Professional, trustworthy and customer-focused approach
- ⭐ Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
The successful candidate will have the confidence and technical ability to provide customers with clear recommendations while maintaining the high standards and reputation that our family business has built over generations.
