Damp & Mould Surveyor

The Damp & Mould Surveyor provides expert, impartial investigation, diagnosis, and reporting on damp, condensation, and mould issues in domestic properties, helping PM+'s clients meet their statutory duties and keep homes safe and healthy.

The role is central to PM+'s work supporting housing associations, registered providers, local authorities, and private landlords across the UK.

  • Provide expert investigation, diagnosis, and reporting on damp, condensation, and mould issues in domestic properties.
  • Support landlords, housing providers, and compliance teams in meeting their obligations under Awaab's Law (the statutory duty on social landlords to investigate and fix damp, mould, and other hazards within fixed timescales), the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018, the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS), and wider housing regulation.
  • Deliver impartial, evidence-based assessments that lead to accurate and proportionate remedial action.
  • Act as a clear, trusted point of technical contact for clients, tenants, and contractors throughout the investigation and repair process.
