Join Our Team as a Dance Teacher in Manchester!

Are you passionate about physical education and inspiring young minds? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dance Teacher to join our team in Manchester. If you have a love for health & fitness and enjoy working with students, we want to hear from you!

Job Title: Dance Teacher

Location: North Manchester (Oldham, Manchester and Rochdale)

Pay: up to £25,500

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday), full time, 52 weeks of the year (term time only is an option)

About Us:

LSC are a team of subject specialists who support primary schools across the UK with PPA cover. Our team of educators are dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment for our students.

Role Overview:

As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective physical education lessons to primary school students during term time and fun and engaging sessions during our holiday clubs. You will create a positive learning atmosphere, encourage student participation, and help students develop their physical skills and overall fitness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of all students.
  • Teaching: Deliver dynamic and interactive PE lessons that inspire and motivate students.
  • Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's overall success.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills.

What we're looking for...

Qualifications:

  • Dance teaching qualification or a degree in Dance

Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching Dance in UK primary schools.
  • Proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
