The Nelson Trust

The Nelson Trust is a charity that provides specialist services for people affected by substance use, multiple disadvantage and complex needs. We believe in positive change, recovery and empowering individuals to build brighter futures.

We are looking for a Data Administration Assistant to join our Women's Community Services team in Gloucester.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, improving systems and processes and using information to help shape and improve services that support women with complex and unmet needs.

Salary: £24,500 pro rata

Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week (flexible)

Location: Gloucester Women's Centre

What will you do?

  • Accurately input and maintain service data, including referrals, client records, attendance and outcomes
  • Support referral processes by logging, tracking and updating information across systems.
  • Quality assure, clean and validate datasets to ensure accurate reporting
  • Produce data summaries, charts, dashboards and reports for internal teams, funders and stakeholders
  • Analyse service and performance data to identify trends and support service improvement
  • Support colleagues with data-related queries and contribute to improving data processes and systems

What We Are Looking For

  • A full UK driving licence is desirable, as the role may involve travel to other Nelson Trust locations
  • Experience of data administration, data input and reporting
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook, with confidence using Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
  • Experience analysing numerical and performance data and presenting findings clearly
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work sensitively within a trauma-informed, women-centred environment
