Salary: 30k to 40k in pounds
We are recruiting for a Data Administrator to join our client's team.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Administrator to support the accurate management, maintenance, and processing of business data.
The successful candidate will maintain databases, update records, perform data quality checks, prepare reports, and work with internal teams to resolve data-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain data across internal systems and databases.
- Ensure data is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks.
- Identify and correct errors, duplicate records, and inconsistencies.
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets and databases.
- Produce regular reports and management information.
- Extract and consolidate data from multiple sources.
- Support data migration and reconciliation activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Work with internal teams to resolve data-related queries.
- Handle confidential information in accordance with GDPR and company policies.
- Support the wider Data and IT team with administrative and data-related activities.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in data administration, data management, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formulas.
- Experience working with databases or data management systems.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyse information and identify discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
