Data Administrator – Winchester/Leeds/Newcastle - Hybrid (2 days WFH)
Who are Christie & Co?
We’re the leading specialist advisor for buying and selling businesses in our sectors - hotels, pubs, restaurants, childcare, healthcare, convenience retail, leisure, and medical.
Where we work
We employ the largest team of sector specialists in the UK and the largest group of hotel specialists in Europe, providing professional brokerage and advisory services from offices in major cities across Britain and Europe. And because we’ve been doing this for over 80 years, we know our sectors and local markets inside out. We work closely with our clients to guide and conclude transactions of any size, covering restaurants and pubs, hotels, leisure, forecourts and convenience retail businesses, social care and elderly care, childcare & education facilities, dental practices, and pharmacies.
Purpose of the Role
This role forms an integral part of the Christie & Co Pubs & Restaurants Brokerage Team and is responsible for maintaining the quality, accuracy, and integrity of data within our Salesforce-based Customer Relationship Management system (IBIS).
The importance of clean, accurate, and up-to-date data is paramount to the success of the team in identifying new business opportunities, securing sales instructions, and connecting with prospective buyers. As such, this role plays a direct part in supporting the commercial performance of the division by ensuring that brokers have access to reliable information that enables targeted business development activity, market intelligence, and client engagement.
The successful candidate will become the primary custodian of records within IBIS, undertaking comprehensive research across multiple data sources to ensure that ownership, contact, and property information remains accurate, current, and actionable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
