About The Role
Based from our Global HQ in 55 Baker Street, London, we are looking to recruit for a Data Administrator to join our Business Development team on a 12‑month fixed term contract. The role will support a strategic Client Discovery project aimed at defining Knight Frank’s core capabilities, client focus, team integration, and market “sweet spot”.

The Business Development Team
The Business Development team sits within the Commercial Division and operates across a range of disciplines, including new business/lead generation, client profiling and targeting, pitching, client relationship management and new business referrals.
The successful candidate will join a friendly, close-knit team, working collaboratively alongside Data Analysts and fellow Data Administrators, and play a key role in enabling the wider business through high-quality data and insight.
Role Purpose and Overview
This specialist role focuses on cleansing and enriching data required for the Client Discovery project, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple datasets.
The quality of client-level analysis and reporting within the Business Development team is highly dependent on the integrity of this data. As such, the successful candidate will have oversight responsibility for client data quality across the UK Commercial business.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Validation and Monitoring – regular vetting of new companies added to Knight Frank’s internal Contact, Company, Property and Opportunity Management system (Hub).
- Data Integrity – Improving the quality of existing client data held across Business Development, Finance, Research and Marketing systems.
- Company Hierarchies – maintaining accurate parent and subsidiary structures through ongoing research and monitoring of corporate changes (e.g. M&As).
- System and Intercompany alignment – ensuring consistency across all systems holding client data, including the new CRM system currently in development.
- Leadership Updates – providing regular updates to senior stakeholders on progress, data quality and reliability at the point of analysis.
- Reporting and Analytics – assisting Business Development Data Analysts in delivery of both regular and bespoke analysis and reporting.

What experience you will need
Skills and Experience
- Experience in manipulating and interrogating large, inconsistent datasets.
- Experience following complex, multistage processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience using data validation tools such as D&B Hoovers, RocketReach or Cognism would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Experience or understanding of a commercial environment (ideally property related) would be preferable, but not essential.
Systems & IT
- Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- MS Power Bi or Tableau (advantageous, not essential)
- MS SQL Server (advantageous, not essential)

- Excellent reasoning skills with the ability to comprehend and interpret complex data/information.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.

- Confident and assertive when required.
- Proactive self-starter with sound judgment and initiative.
