We’re hiring: Data & AI Architect | UK Wide | Up to £85,000

Are you an experienced Data & AI Architect who wants to do more than simply design solutions?

This is an opportunity to join a growing Microsoft Solutions Partner with ambitious plans for Data & AI - and play a genuinely influential role in shaping what comes next.

The business helps organisations harness Cloud, Data, Security and AI to transform how they operate and grow. Its focus is on designing and delivering modern Microsoft technology solutions that enable customers to become secure, data-driven and AI-enabled enterprises.

The opportunity

As Data & AI Architect, you’ll sit at the intersection of strategy, architecture, consulting and innovation.

You’ll work directly with customers to understand their ambitions, lead discovery and envisioning sessions, define Data & AI roadmaps, and architect enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure. But this role goes further than customer delivery.

You’ll also have the opportunity to help shape and grow a Data & AI practice - developing new offerings and accelerators, establishing architectural standards, mentoring technical teams, supporting strategic opportunities and working closely with Microsoft.

What you’ll be doing

  • Architect modern, enterprise-scale Data & AI platforms on Microsoft Azure
  • Lead customer discovery workshops, architecture reviews and strategic advisory engagements
  • Design solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Purview, Synapse Analytics and Power BI
  • Build AI-ready data platforms supporting analytics, machine learning and Generative AI
  • Architect solutions using Azure AI Services, Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio and Azure OpenAI
  • Design RAG architectures, knowledge discovery solutions and intelligent applications
  • Champion Responsible AI, governance, security and architectural best practice
  • Mentor consultants, engineers and architects
  • Support pre-sales, proposals, solution estimates and customer business cases
  • Help create repeatable Data & AI services and accelerators as the practice grows

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll bring significant experience designing and delivering modern Azure-based Data & AI platforms, ideally within consulting, professional services or another customer-facing technology environment.

We’re particularly interested in people who can combine deep technical credibility with strong customer engagement skills - someone equally comfortable discussing architecture with engineering teams, facilitating a strategy workshop, or presenting a transformation roadmap to senior stakeholders.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Databricks, Azure data platform architecture and modern data platform delivery is particularly important. Broader experience across Power BI, Purview, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, RAG, Lakehouse architectures, Python/C#, DevOps and Infrastructure as Code would be highly valuable.

The wider package includes professional development and Microsoft certification support, flexible/home-based working, private medical insurance, wellbeing and income protection benefits, pension, lifestyle benefits and regular company events.
