Data & AI Architect
We are partnering with a leading global IT services and transformation business to appoint an experienced Data & AI Architect. This is an opportunity to design and deliver modern data and AI solutions for a major financial services client. You will work across data engineering, cloud platforms, advanced analytics and AI, translating business requirements into scalable, secure and production-ready solutions.
The Role
You will work closely with business stakeholders, technology leaders and delivery teams to:
- Design end-to-end data, analytics and AI solutions
- Create solution architectures, technical designs and implementation roadmaps
- Develop architectures across cloud, hybrid and on-premise environments
- Support data lakes, lakehouse platforms, data warehouses and streaming solutions
- Design AI, machine learning and GenAI solutions
- Establish MLOps and model lifecycle-management approaches
- Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, governance and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate and recommend suitable platforms, tools and technologies
- Provide technical leadership throughout development and implementation
- Produce clear architecture documentation and solution blueprints
- Communicate technical recommendations to senior client stakeholders

Your Experience
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong experience as a Data Architect, AI Architect or Data & AI Solution Architect
- Previous experience within banking or financial services
- A solid background in software development and data engineering
- Strong knowledge of modern data platforms, integration and governance
- Experience designing AI, machine learning or GenAI solutions
- Knowledge of MLOps and production model deployment
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- A good understanding of security, data privacy, model risk and auditability
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- The ability to provide technical leadership across business and delivery teams

The Opportunity
You will join a major global technology organisation delivering complex transformation programmes for some of the UK’s largest businesses. The position offers exposure to modern data and AI technologies, large-scale financial services transformation and an excellent package of salary, benefits, training and career development.

Working model: Hybrid (2 - 3days in office)
