Data & AI Consultant – Join Our Technology Consulting Practice
We are hiring Data & AI Consultants into our Technology Consulting practice. You will deliver client-facing engagements across analytics, BI, data engineering, data governance, data science, AI, and workflow automation, covering sectors including financial services, public sector, healthcare, and life sciences.

Our consultants leverage transferable skills in project management, stakeholder management, communication, and process improvement to deliver impactful results.
As a Data & AI Consultant, you will collaborate with clients across diverse sectors, applying your technical, analytical, and consulting expertise to create practical data and AI solutions. This role is hybrid, with on-site client presence required when necessary.
Role Tracks
Candidates are expected to demonstrate depth in one or more of these tracks—though you may transition across disciplines depending on client needs:
- Data Analytics, BI, and Reporting
- Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering
- Data Science, AI, and Advanced Analytics
- Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Management
- Automation and AI-Enabled Workflow
Responsibilities
Your tasks will vary based on track and grade but typically include:
- Analysing client needs and translating business problems into data-driven, AI, or automation solutions (e.g., dashboards, pipelines, models, governance frameworks, or workflow automations).
- Building and deploying solutions: dashboards, pipelines, predictive models, governance artefacts, or automation tools.
- Profiling, validating, and improving client data to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Creating client-ready deliverables, including documentation and handover materials.
- Facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Managing tasks/workstreams, identifying risks, and escalating issues.
Additional Expectations (Assistant Manager & Manager Levels)
- Lead small teams or workstreams, reviewing junior outputs.
- Stakeholder management: engage with and manage day-to-day client relationships.
- (Manager-level): Contribute to proposals, reusable assets, and the development of new Data & AI capabilities for the firm.

Skills & Experience
Education & Certifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: SQL, Python, R, etc.
Core Requirements
We seek candidates with 2–8 years of experience in data, analytics, BI, engineering, data science, AI, governance, or automation. Strong applicants combine technical depth with outstanding communication skills and enthusiasm for client-facing consulting.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one: Python, R, DAX, or Power Query.
- Strong analytical problem-solving—even with messy or incomplete data.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical outputs.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including bridging gaps between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Sector experience (financial services, public sector, healthcare, or life sciences) is helpful but not mandatory.
Specialised Depth Required
Choose at least one area for expertise:
Data Analytics & BI
- Dashboard/reporting development using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Designing KPIs and reporting workflows with business stakeholders.
- DAX/Power Query for semantic modeling and data transformation.
- Data trend analysis to identify risks, opportunities, or actionable insights.
Data Engineering & Analytics Engineering
- Building pipelines/ETL workflows (cloud-based or on-premises).
- Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake.
- Data modeling for analytics, reporting, or reconciliation.
- Data quality checks, technical documentation, and exposure to version control/CI/CD.
Data Science, AI & Advanced Analytics
- Machine learning/Python/R application to solve business problems.
- Experience across forecasting, classification, optimisation, NLP, or GenAI.
- Translating models into business insights and recommendations.
- Awareness of model explainability and responsible AI practices.
Data Governance & Quality
- Data profiling, cleansing, and validation for accuracy and compliance.
- Metadata, lineage, and stewardship models documentation.
- Support for data migration, regulatory reporting, or remediation.
Automation & AI Workflow
- Identifying and executing automation opportunities:
- Reporting, reconciliation, or operational processes.
- Tools: Power Automate, Power Apps, UiPath, Python, or VBA.
- Process mapping and client workshops for implementation.
- Supporting AI-enabled use cases (document processing, extraction, classification).
