Junior to Mid Level Data & AI Engineer
£45,000 - £65,000 | Hybrid London (1-2 Days per Week)
We're working with a rapidly growing AI-focused fintech business that is expanding its engineering team following the launch of a new data and intelligence platform.
They are looking to hire Data & AI Engineers at both Junior and Mid-Level, offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies in a highly collaborative environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who are passionate about AI and want to gain hands-on experience building real-world applications using modern language models and data technologies.
The Role
You'll work as part of a small engineering team developing AI-powered products and supporting the delivery of solutions for clients operating within financial services.

You'll be involved in building applications, processing and modelling data, integrating AI services and helping shape the future direction of the platform.
What They're Looking For
Mid-Level Engineers
- Around 2 years of commercial software engineering experience
- Strong Python skills
- Experience working with LLM APIs or AI tooling
- Interest in AI product development
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of work
Junior Engineers
- Computer Science degree or similar technical background
- Strong programming fundamentals
- Exposure to Python
- Interest in AI, machine learning and emerging technologies
- Familiarity with tools such as Claude Code, ChatGPT or similar AI assistants
