Role: Data Analysis & Insight Coordinator

Location: Homebased, UK
Contract Type: Fixed term, 18 months
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £29,170 per annum

This is a role for someone who enjoys getting beneath the numbers and working out what they are actually telling us. As Data Analysis & Insight Coordinator, you’ll work across Fundraising, Poppy Appeal and Membership, using data from a range of sources to understand performance, spot opportunities and help teams make better decisions. You’ll take ownership of analysis across campaigns and activity, monitor KPIs, contribute to forecasting and modelling, and turn complex information into clear findings that people can genuinely use.

Come and be part of the leading Armed Forces charity, making a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.

You’ll also have the opportunity to influence what happens next. Your analysis will help shape audience segmentation, testing, donation prompting and new fundraising and membership initiatives, with your recommendations helping teams understand what is working, where there is potential and where a different approach may be needed. The role involves working closely with colleagues across different areas of the organisation, as well as supporting external analytical work, so you’ll need to be comfortable moving between detailed data analysis and conversations with people who may not work with data every day.

We’re looking for someone who is naturally analytical, curious and thorough, with experience working in complex, data-rich environments and a strong understanding of how to use data to answer business questions. You’ll have experience with SQL reporting and analytics tools and be confident interpreting KPIs, identifying patterns and presenting your findings in a way that is straightforward and useful. Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who can build good working relationships, manage competing priorities and explain your thinking clearly. Experience with tools such as Apteco FastStats, Power BI, Qlik, Tableau or geodemographic systems would be an advantage, but we’re particularly interested in someone who can take good quality analysis and turn it into insight that leads to action.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
