Data Analyst

Type: Contractor

Compensation: $31–$60/hour

Location: Remote

About the Opportunity

micro1 is engaging experienced Data Analysts to contribute to a high-impact customer project focused on business data and AI training. You will apply your expertise in data analysis, document review, privacy, and quality assurance to evaluate large-scale datasets and provide high-quality input that helps improve how next-generation AI systems learn, reason, and perform.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze large-scale business datasets for accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
  • Conduct detailed document reviews while adhering to strict data privacy and PII protocols.
  • Identify, flag, and resolve data quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies.
  • Evaluate data integrity and ensure information meets established quality standards.
  • Provide detailed findings, feedback, and recommendations to support AI training processes.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of quality assurance standards for data review assignments.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders through clear and professional written and verbal communication.
  • Maintain strict compliance with established data privacy and security requirements.
  • Deliver accurate, consistent, and high-quality work across assigned datasets and project deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience handling and analyzing large business datasets.
  • Proven experience working with personally identifiable information (PII) and sensitive data.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, protocols, and best practices.
  • Background in data analysis, document review, data quality assurance, audit, or related work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies, anomalies, and potential data-quality risks.
  • Ability to work independently and consistently in a remote, distributed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale business data review or quality assurance projects.
  • Familiarity with privacy and security practices for sensitive datasets.
  • Experience reviewing business documents and structured data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Previous experience working on remote or distributed projects.
  • Experience contributing to data-quality standards or review workflows.

Eligibility
