We are seeking a motivated Data Analyst to support the development and deployment of digital manufacturing solutions across Safran Engineering Services and customer sites. This role will focus on collecting, centralising, and analysing production data from multiple locations, transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights that drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Working closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Digital teams, and key stakeholders in the UK and France, you will help create a cohesive approach to data management, reporting, and performance measurement, enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.
The role will be based across Wolverhampton and Banbury sites with occasional travel to customer and other Safran sites, including in France, and will initially be a 12-month fixed-term employment contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, consolidate, and validate production and operational data from multiple sites and systems.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and KPIs using tools such as Power BI.
- Analyse manufacturing and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support Manufacturing Engineers with data mining, root cause analysis, and performance improvement activities.
- Assist in the development of standardised data structures, reporting methodologies, and digital tools.
- Collaborate with Digital teams in the UK and France to understand, promote, and deploy digital capabilities.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives through robust data analysis.
- Document analytical processes, findings, and recommendations to support knowledge sharing and project delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
