Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical proficiency and business acumen, with a proven track record in data analysis and cloud-based data solutions. Relevant qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Certifications in cloud platforms (such as AWS) and data visualization tools will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication. Experience working with large datasets, ETL processes, and modern data visualization tools is essential. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment is also crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

The Data Analyst will be integral to transforming raw data into actionable insights that support business objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a cloud-based Data Warehouse using SQL
  • Designing and optimizing ETL pipelines with AWS Glue or similar technologies
  • Creating compelling dashboards and reports in Power BI
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across various departments to understand their analytical needs
  • Analyzing large datasets to identify trends and opportunities
  • Ensuring data quality, accuracy, and governance standards are upheld
  • Documenting data processes
  • Staying abreast of emerging analytics tools and best practices
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the data ecosystem
  • Maintaining data security and compliance throughout all processes
