The Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Analyst with a strong finance and accounting background to join a growing healthcare organisation. You'll play a key role in developing reporting, improving financial insight, and helping the business make data-driven decisions in a complex, high-volume environment.

They are a fast-growing healthcare services organisation that partners with public sector healthcare providers to deliver specialist support and improve operational outcomes. Operating in a data-rich environment, they manage multiple contracts, each with unique commercial and operational requirements. As the business continues to expand, they are investing in their finance and reporting capabilities. This role offers the chance to have a visible impact across finance, operations, and leadership reporting while helping to build scalable processes for future growth.
The Role
As a Data Analyst, you will sit within a collaborative finance team and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting and actionable insights.

Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and developing finance reporting across the organisation
- Supporting forecasting cycles and maintaining financial models covering revenue, cash flow, and business planning
- Reconciling and validating data across Xero, SQL, and Power BI
- Managing finance and operational data uploads and ensuring data accuracy
- Producing board-level reporting on cash performance, contract activity, and operational metrics
- Analysing patient volumes, contract performance, and business trends against forecasts
- Building new reports and dashboards to improve decision-making
- Investigating and resolving data discrepancies across multiple systems
- Supporting process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and data quality
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong finance or accounting background, gained in a Finance Analyst, Management Accountant, Accountant, or similar role
- Advanced Excel skills with experience building and maintaining complex financial models
- Practical experience using SQL for data analysis and interrogation
- Experience working with Power BI, including maintaining or developing reports and dashboards
- Strong reconciliation skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership of reporting and data processes
- Comfortable working in a growing business where priorities can evolve
