About the Role
You're the sort of person who can't look at three different spreadsheets telling three different stories without wanting to fix it. You notice when systems don't talk to each other, and you've got the patience and the grit to change that, even when people are used to doing things a certain way. You don't need everything handed to you, you're comfortable getting stuck in and figuring things out as you go.
£40k-£45k (on experience) Derby (On-site, with Tuesday to Thursday working from home)
You'll lead on pulling together data from different IT systems to create one clear line of reporting, giving the business a single, reliable picture instead of fragmented information from every direction. From there you'll build and integrate a standardised reporting pack, and design a system that captures and reports information simply and clearly.
This is working for a not-for-profit, multi-discipline team working across finance, procurement, engineering and quality, business development and transformation. We share expert knowledge to help ambitious supply chain companies grow, evolve and thrive, and everything we do is driven by purpose first.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Day to day, you'll be consolidating data into one space, aligning information that currently sits in silos, and helping the business make better decisions, faster. It isn't just about taking outputs. You'll be designing the inputs too, shaping how data is structured from the start rather than simply reporting on what already exists.
Key Requirements
- Data analytics experience - you'll be able to provide and talk through previous projects where you have integrated several IT systems together
- At least 2 years' data reporting experience using Power BI or Microsoft Dashboards
- Experience creating the structure of data inputs and also the outputs
This is a role you can build from the ground up. There's a genuine opportunity to bring change into the organisation and shape the reporting structure for the next generation of the business, with the scope to grow the role as you grow into it.

We're still a small team, which means no red tape and no long chains of approval before you can get something done. You'll bring your own perspective to how data is structured and presented, working across teams to influence strategy, not just produce clean, crisp documentation.
Get this right and the role becomes whatever you build it into. You'll take ownership of the reporting structure you create, carry responsibility for how the business sees its own data, and be the person others turn to for the full picture.
