About The Role
The Senior Data Analyst role at Hunter Selection is a pivotal position within a dynamic and expanding data team. This role involves working on critical business reporting, data quality assurance, and transformation projects that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, particularly in SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and data modelling, and will enjoy working hands-on with data to derive actionable insights. Collaboration with various business units is essential, as the Senior Data Analyst will help improve data processes, develop modern data platforms, and ensure data integrity across multiple systems.

Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and database development
- Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, including Dataflows, Pipelines, and data transformation processes
- Strong Power BI development skills to design, build, and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards
- Solid understanding of data quality management, data governance, and reporting solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure technologies, Logic Apps, Power Platform, and exposure to regulated environments or data remediation programs
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions to support business reporting needs
- Design, build, and maintain reporting dashboards and solutions using Power BI to deliver insights across the organization
- Work with Microsoft Fabric components such as Dataflows and Pipelines to facilitate data transformation and integration processes
- Support data quality initiatives by implementing standards and processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Build and maintain scalable data models and warehouse structures to support reporting and analytics activities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand challenges, and deliver tailored data solutions
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in data capture, reporting, and governance to enhance overall data management practices
